Hungry or not?

Hunger after the things of God. Hunger after His voice. Hunger after obedience and walking in His will. Hunger after God and see how earthly things do not satisfy you like He can. For when we have a hungry heart for God, we
receive true satisfaction in Him.

Cry out, ‘Abba Father’, draw near to Him and watch Him draw near to you.

I’ve often found that because I haven’t been in constant communication with God or days or I haven’t been inviting Him into every part of my life, I lose peace, joy.
God is our source for everything. True peace and joy is found in Him.

‘God wanted them to look for Him and perhaps search all around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any of us: ‘We live in Him. We walk in Him. We are in Him.’ Some of your own poets have said: ‘For we are His children.’ Acts 17: 27 and 28

Do not try to satisfy your hunger with worldly things but instead run to Him and be satisfied and filled by His precious Word.
What our hearts and souls cry out for is more of Jesus. If only we would use that hunger to search for the deeper things of God and to spend more time with Him.
God wants to pour more of Himself into us, that our lives would be filled with more of Jesus.

‘Be full of joy in The Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy.’ Philippians 4:4

Meditate on how loving and great our God is and let us not drown out the cries of our heart to be filled with more of God.

Let your heart’s hunger lead you back to God.
